Terms & Conditions of Sale

Return Merchandise Policy
If you are not satisfied with our books for any reason, return within 30 days for a full refund of the price of the books (no refund if books are not received within 30 days). We do not refund shipping charges. Return shipping is at your expense. We are not liable for return merchandise that does not reach our warehouse.
Any shipment to be returned for credit must be verifiably documented:
Step 1 is to notify us by email (relations@meridianpress.com) of your decision to return a book.
In the case of US Postal Service (USPS), any return should be insured. We suggest that you ship
"Return Receipt Requested".
USPS:
Meridian Press, PO Box 21567, Oklahoma City, OK 73156
In the case of a courier service such as FedEx or UPS you need to request signature of receiving person in order to obtain verifiable proof of delivery.
FedEx / UPS / Courier Services:
Meridian Press, 9300 N. May Avenue Suite 400-220, Oklahoma City, OK 73120-4483
Once we have received and processed the returned books, we will notify you via e-mail. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used to make the purchase, within 14 to 21 business days after your returned shipment is received at our warehouse.
Please note:
We take special care in preparing books for shipment to you; each title is placed in a heavy (4-mil) protective plastic cover. You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the books returned, provided that they are in the same re-sellable condition in which they left our warehouse.
In the case of any books returned which are not in re-sellable condition, your refund will be reduced by a re-stocking fee in the amount of 35% of the price you paid for the books returned.
Q: What is "re-sellable condition"?
A: Condition comparable to that of new books on the shelf in any of the national-bookstore-chain bookstores in the U.S.

Manufacturing Defects:
Our books are inspected as they come off the press and again as they are packed for shipment. Still, once in a while, a defective book gets shipped to a customer (i.e. missing pages, cover bound upside-down, etc.). Frankly with all the automation in the printing and binding business nowadays, it is difficult to imagine how these things happen ... but they can.

If you find that any of our books appears to have a manufacturing defect, please send us an E-mail describing the defect addressed to: <relations@meridianpress.com>.
If a book is to be returned to us due to a manufacturing defect, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number and shipping instructions. Packages will not be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number written clearly on the outside of the package.

Merchandise Damaged in Transit
In the case of shipments that may have been damaged in transit, any claim must be made directly with the carrier: US Postal Service (USPS), your national postal service, Federal Express, etc.

Thank you for your interest in Meridian Press titles.
